The applicant has filed this application through jail. It is clear from the application that the applicant is facing criminal charges arising out of following cases:

CR No.210 of 2009 under the provisions of Sections 392, 397, 341 452 and 34 of the IPC and CR No.221 of 2009 under the provisions of Section 395 of the IPC at JMFC, Kalyan.

CR No.242 of 2009 under the provisions of Sections 392, 452, 341 and 34 of the IPC at JMFC, Panvel.

CR No. 38/08 under the provisions of Section 379 of the IPC at JMFC, Rahata.

CR No. I-93/09 under the provisions of Sections, 392,341, 452, 34 and 395 of the IPC at Sessions Court, Thane, M.C.O.C.

The applicant by filing the said application has requested for directions to dispose of these cases withing a time bound period. The applicant has stated that he is an Agriculturist and the only earning member in the family, and since he has been in custody, nobody is there to look after his agricultural land. He has also stated that his parents are old and in the absence of any person to look after his agricultural land, his parents are starving.

Mr. More, learned APP submitted that directions for expeditious hearing can be given to the concerned Courts. Taking into consideration the averments made in the application, I am of the opinion that the interest of justice will be sub-served if the concerned Courts mentioned above are directed to dispose of the criminal cases pending against the applicant expeditiously. Order accordingly.

4. In the light of the above order, the criminal application is disposed of.
