1Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
applicant. The applicant has been convicted for the
offence punishable under sections 324, 353 and 332 of the
Indian Penal Code and sentenced him to suffer simple
imprisonment for the period of two years and to pay fine
of Rs.500/- i.d to suffer simple imprisonment for six
months on each count. The applicant was on bail during
the trial.
2Taking into consideration the sentence awarded by
the trial Court, the applicant deserves to be released on
bail particularly because the appeal is not likely to
come up for final hearing in the near future.
3The applicant therefore be released on bail on
execution of P.R.Bond in the sum of Rs.5,000/-. He will
report to the Roha Police Station, District Raigad once
in a month.
