following directions;
(i) Petitioner is aggreeable to opt for giran land from village Nittur, Taluka Chandgad, District Kolhapur, preferrably from Survey Nos.459 and 460.
(ii) Petitioner will deposit initially 65% of the occupancy price in order to enable the Respondents to pursue the matter further.
(iii) On behalf of Respondents the learned counsel submits that on the occupancy charges being deposited by the petitioner (which would be worked out by the Respondents and intimated to the petitioner), they will seek NOC from village panchayat and thereafter forward the proposal to Revenue & Forest Department.
(iv) Deputy Secretary, Revenue & Forest Department who is present before the Court makes a statement that as soon as proposal is received, they will expeditiously consider and dispose of the same considering that the period of more than 12 years has been passed since the petitioner’s land was acquired in 1997.
(v) Respondents to consider the petitioner’s request that preferrably he should be allotted land from Survey Nos. 459 and 460. Petitioner would be entitled to the land of 0-Hector 51-R.
(vi) This entire process be completed within eight

months from today.
