This is a letter received from the prisoner Sayyad Yusuf Shahadulla through jail which is treated as writ petition.

It is stated in the said letter by the petitioner / prisoner that his mother is seriously ill and she requires treatment and therefore Petitioner/prisoner be permitted to go on parole. Learned APP has drawn our attention to the order passed by this Court on 17^th September, 2009 in an earlier application filed by the same prisoner being Criminal Application No. 239 of 2009 in Criminal Writ Petition No. 1605 of 2009 and the Court has rejected the application on the

ground that his mother had only minor ailment of gastroenterities.

Therefore, this criminal writ petition is rejected.
