1 We are informed that the petitioner has not filed the
complaint before the Metropolitan Magistrate, 29th Court Dadar within whose jurisdiction the offences have been committed.
2 Learned A.P.P. informs the Court that the investigation is
almost over and that the Investigating Officer, P.S.I. Mr. Mane from Dadar Police Station has already got the documents which are alleged
to be forged and will be filing his report before the learned Magistrate
as expeditiously as possible after obtaining the report from the Hand Writing Expert. We expect the respondent State will act expeditiously in

the matter. When the documents are sent to the hand writing expert he should be in a position to give his opinion within a period of 3 months from the date of receiving the documents which is the outer limit in such cases. Otherwise it will defeat the purpose of lodging the complaint. We hope that the State has sufficient number of hand writing experts and finger print experts to attend to the business. We grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the learned Magistrate who is seized with the matter. It is expected that the learned Magistrate would monitor the investigation and see that it is expeditiously completed and report is filed. With these observations the petition stands disposed of.
