 1. Heard. Matter pertains to the
 elections. The election programme is in
 progress and voting is scheduled on
 Sunday, 8th March 2009. The petitioner is
 having regular remedy of election petition
 after the election results are declared.
 Therefore we refrain to entertain the
 petition. Petition is disposed of. All
 contentions are kept open if the
 petitioner desires to prefer election
 petition. We have perused the Dispatch
 Register and we have also noticed that
 while disposing of the claims and

 objections under Rule 56-D of the
 Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Rule,
 1961, the concerned officer has passed
 three orders and even though we have not
 gone into the merit of the said orders we
 find that such orders could not have been
 passed by the Assistant Register while
 finalising the Voter’s list under Rule
 56-D of the said Rules. We direct the
 District Deputy Register that this that
 this officer shall not be appointed in any
 election process henceforth. Copy of this
 letter be sent to the District Deputy
 Register, Kolhapur.
