After hearing the learned counsel for the applicant for some time learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the application and urges for direction to be issued to the Sessions Court to conclude the trial expeditiously. Applicant came to be arrested on 31.12.07. He is in custody. Having regard to the facts and circumstances I deem it appropriate to direct the Sessions Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible. In the result applicant is dismissed as withdrawn. Sessions Court is directed to commence and conclude the trial within a period of six months from today. In the event the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period liberty is granted to the present applicant to file fresh application for bail.
