1. The Collector of Ratnagiri had invited six bids
for transportation of food grains and supply of
essential commodity for Ratnagiri District. The
petitioners’ tender was rejected. The tenure of
the tender was for 3 years. The petitioners were
informed as far back as on 12th September, 2006
that the tender submitted by them had been
rejected. More than two years have already passed
from the date of rejection of the said tender. In
view thereof the petition has become infructuous
and as such dismissed.
