is present and that all the petitioners have affixed
their signatures after understanding the terms and
conditions on which the parties have arrived at the
settlement which has been recorded as consent terms.
On behalf of respondent nos. 5 and 6, the learned
counsel states that the Superintendent of Respondent
No. 6 institution is present. The learned counsel
appearing for respondent nos. 5 and 6 states that the
institution as well as the principal have agreed to the
terms and conditions entered into between the parties
and that they will appoint a committee to decide about
the payment of gratuity to be paid to the eligible
employees in accordance with the provisions of law as
stated in paragraph (9) of the consent terms. The
matter has been worked out between them and, therefore,
the consent terms be accepted and the petition be
disposed of accordingly. The learned AGP., appearing
for respondent nos. 1 to 3 and the learned counsel
appearing for respondent no. 4 state that they have no
objection in the matter as the settlement is between
the parties and they do not hold any liability which
has been agreed upon between the parties and as
recorded in the consent terms. Their only request is
that a copy of the consent terms be furnished to them
for the purpose of their record. In view of this we
are taking the consent terms on record and the same is
marked "X" for the purpose of identification.
