This is an appeal filed by the sole accused against
his conviction. He was able to obtain bail from this
Court in the year 1996. When the case came up for
hearing, nobody appeared for the appellant. Therefore, a
non-bailable warrant was issued against the appellant.
The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has filed a report
and also a Certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat that
the appellant has died on 29.11.1997. The report and the
Certificate are taken on record. As such, the Criminal
Appeal abates.
