Heard Mr. Parsodkar, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Deshpande, the learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 and 2 and Mr.Sambre, the learned counsel for the respondent no.3.
The counsel for the petitioner states that in the present petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent nos.1 and 2 to forward the caste certificate along with the documentary evidence produced by the petitioner before respondent nos.1 and 2 to the Caste Scrutiny Committee and the Caste Scrutiny Committee be asked to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within reasonable period.

Mr. Deshpande, the learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 and 2 has stated that the respondent no.2 has forwarded the caste certificate along with the documentary evidence produced by the petitioner to the Caste Scrutiny Committee vide letter No.9161, dated 29.08.2007.
Mr. Sambre, the learned counsel for the respondent no. 2, Caste Scrutiny Committee, states that if the certificate along with the documents are received by the Committee from respondent no.2, the caste claim of the petitioner shall be verified on its own merits as per the procedure prescribed in this regard at the earliest.
In the backdrop of the above referred facts, the cause of action in the instant petition does not survive and hence, the petition is disposed of.
