1. Learned APP appearing for the State makes a
statement that within a period of one week from today the
charge sheet will be filed. In view of this statement,
learned counsel for the petitioner submits that further
directions may be given to the Magistrate to dispose of the
case as early as possible since the petitioner is at the
verge of her retirement. We find that the submission of
the learned counsel for the petitioner is justified in the
facts and circumstances of the case. We therefore record
and accept the statement made by the learned APP that the
charge sheet will be filed within a period of one week from
today. We further direct that on filing of the charge
sheet, the concerned Magistrate shall dispose of the case
as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period
of six months from the date of filing of the charge sheet.
The parties shall co-operate with the Magistrate for the
expeditious disposal of the case. Petition is accordingly
disposed of.
