Learned counsel for the respondents, upon instructions,

submits that the proceedings before the Estate Officer shall be continued by the authority on the basis of the notice dated 11^th June, 2007 (Exhibit-G at pages 73-75 of the paper book) and would drop the notice dated 15^th September, 2004 (Exhibit-C to the petition).

In view of the above statement made on behalf of the respondents, nothing survives for consideration before this Court in these petitions. No relief is even pressed by the petitioners. These writ petitions are accordingly disposed of as having become infructuous in view of the statement made on behalf of the respondents. We further direct that the petitioners would fully co-operate in the proceedings which will be conducted before the Estate Officer. If any adverse order is passed, the same will not be given effect to for a period of four weeks from the date of communication of the order to the petitioners. The writ petitions are accordingly disposed of while leaving the parties to bear their own costs. This order is without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties.
