This criminal revision application has been filed by the

applicant aggrieved by the impugned order of the Family Court, awarding maintenance to the respondent-wife.

On 11^th July, 2007, this Court specifically directed the

applicant to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- towards the initial expenses of litigation and all arrears of maintenance awarded by the Family Court within a period of six weeks. On taking instructions, the learned counsel for respondent No. 2 states that the applicant-husband has not deposited the sum of Rs.5,000/-, nor paid maintenance, as already directed by this Court. We, therefore, dismiss this Revision Application for want of prosecution.

The respondent-wife can recover the arrears of maintenance through the Family Court by initiating execution proceedings.
