1. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. He has
drawn our attention to the Affidavit of Mr.Farok Jimy
Guzdar,Director of Respondent No.1-Company. In paragraph 4
thereof it is stated that bilateral settlement was signed by
M/s.Standard Batteries Ltd.-respondent 1 and the workers of
the said company who were represented by Mr.Chandrakant
Mangaonkar, Ex-General Secretary of Standard Batteries
Employees’ Union on 23rd October 2000. He, however, states
that the said settlement has not been implemented. The
learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to
withdraw the petition with liberty to take out such
proceedings as the petitioner may be advised to get the said
settlement implemented.
2. Petition is allowed to be withdrawn with liberty as
prayed.
