. In the instant case, Petitioner Nos. 2, 3 and 4 have resigned from service. Petitioner No. 7 has

.	The Pet	itioner No.	1	has	been	appointed	as
Lecturer	in	Geography	against		the	post	of
Professor.	On	behalf	of	the		University,	their
learned	counsel	points	out	that	they	have	been
unable	to	select can	didate	against	the	post	of
Professor	and	as such	the	Pe	titioner	would	be

continued in the post of Lecturer till such time

the post can be filled in by a duly selected

candidate. Statement accepted.

5 will be continued in the said post till such time

as the duly selected candidate is appointed.

.	Petitioner	No.	6	has	been	appointed	as	Lecturer
in	economic	against	the	post	of	Professor.	It	is
pointed	out	that	the	Univers	ity	has been	unab	le to
select	candidate	for	the	post	of	Professor	and	as
such	the	Petitioner	w	ill be	co	ntinued	till	such
