The learned counsel for the appellant has submitted a fresh paper book alongwith a set of judgments, today in court with a copy to the respondent. He also stated that there are certain documents which are in Tamil for which he needs a short adjournment so that they could be translated into English. The learned counsel for the appellant further stated that he has not been served copies of the cross-

examination/clarifications sought from the appellant by the Competent Authority on 24.03.2016 as recorded in the impugned order dated 25.07.2018. He also stated that he has not been served a copy of the report received from the Directorate of Forensic Science, Hyderabad by the respondent.

The learned representative of the respondent stated that he is ready with the arguments and there is nothing new in the documents which has been submitted today as they have already been discussed by the original authority. He also stated that he do not want to file a reply and is ready with the arguments.

Since the appellant insists on submitting the translated copy of the documents which are in Tamil and on which he insists that he would be relying upon, this request is allowed and they are directed to submit to the Registry within two weeks from today with a copy to the respondent. The respondent is also directed to serve copies of the documents at para 1 (supra) until and unless they claim confidentiality for the same for which they should give valid reasons. The learned representative for the respondent assures that these two documents will be served on the appellant within a week’s time after taking instructions from the department.

The matter may be listed for final hearing on 16^th October, 2019. No further adjournments.
