On the last date of hearing, Mr. Rajeev Awasthi appearing on behalf of the Appellant has produced certified copy of the judgment dated 13th March, 2017( corrected on 22nd March, 2017) passed by the Division Bench of the High Court of Karnataka at Bangalore. The Writ Petition filed by the Appellant was allowed and all the proceedings under Prevention of Money Laundering Act were quashed. Since Mr. Vikas Garg, the learned counsel for the respondent was not available on 16th March, 2017 the matter was adjourned. For today, Mr. Vikas Garg, Advocate has informed that the Department may challenge the said order before the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Therefore, he seeks an adjournment. Mr. Rajiv Awasthi, Learned Counsel for the appellant has opposed the request of Mr. Vikas Garg and stated that the consequential order be

passed by this Tribunal as the judgment of the High Court has not been stayed by any Court.
However, considering the actual position sas a last chance, in the interest of the Justice adjourn the matter for four weeks at the request of Mr. Vikas Garg.
