Learned Counsel to the respondent accepts the notice, he seeks time to file the reply. Let the same be filed within six weeks and the rejoinder be filed within four weeks thereafter. List the appeal on 07th September, 2017.

Shri Prabhat Kumar, Learned Counsel for the appellant is pressing for Interim Order. He submits that the importer in the case has already deposited a sum of more than Rs. 3 Crores out of Rs. 13 Crores of the duty imposed by the Department. He submits that till the next date of hearing his client shall not create third party interest to dispose of the attached properties belonging to the applicant/appellant in any manner directly or indirectly. Let the reply be filed by the respondent within six FPA-PMLA-1750/CHN/2017 Page 1 of 2
weeks with an advance copy to the Learned Counsel for the Appellant
who may file the rejoinder within four weeks thereafter.
List the appeal on 07th September, 2017.
In the meanwhile, both parties shall maintain the ‘ status quo ’ in
relation to properties which are subject matter of this case.
