A fresh appeal has been filed under Section 17 read with Section 19 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 against the impugned order dated 10th March, 2017. Along with the appeal an application for stay of the operation of the impugned order has been filed. We have gone through the materials filed along with the appeal as well as the grounds. We are of the view that the appeal will be heard on the next date of hearing.
In the meanwhile, the operation of the impugned order dated 10th March, 2017 shall be stayed subject to the deposit of fifty per cent of the penalty amount with the respondent, subject to the said deposit shall be made within eight weeks from today, to the operation of the impugned order be stayed.
