As per the provisions of Part XIV of Chapter VI of the Finance Act 2017, the Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange (ATFE) has been merged with the Appellate Tribunal under the Smugglers & Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Properties) Act 1976, w. e. f. 26.05.2017.
The appellant in the above said matter were directed to file the copies of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Bombay High Court. No one appears on behalf of the appellant. Issue notice to the appellant as well as his counsel to represent the matter on the next date of hearing.
