A fresh appeal has been filed under Section 17 read with Section 19 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 against the order dated 09.01.2017. Along with the appeal an application for stay of the impugned order has been filed. The counsel for the appellant is pressing for the interim order for stay in the operation of the impugned order during the pendency of the appeal. The learned counsel for the respondent seeks sometime to go through the files and if necessary to file the reply in the stay application.
