As per the provisions of Part XIV of Chapter VI of the Finance Act 2017, the Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange (ATFE) has been merged with the Appellate Tribunal under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Properties) Act, 1976 w.e.f. 26.05.2017. The file in the above said matter has been received by this Tribunal on 01^st July, 2017.

The matter is at the stage of pre-deposit of penalty amount imposed upon the appellant. No one appears on behalf of the appellant. Registry to issue notice to the appellant as well as his counsel to represent the case on the next date of hearing i.e. 09^th March, 2018 at 02:30 PM.
