Heard Sri Bolla Venkata Rama Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents.

The instant writ petition is filed challenging the Preliminary Notification vide Ref.G4/497/2019 dated 03.03.2020 issued under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 by the 2^nd respondent, whereby it was proposed to acquire agricultural lands over an extent of Ac.2.00 cents in Sy.No.199-1 of Penikeru Village, Alamuru Mandal, East Godavari District, without following the due procedure contemplated under the provisions of the said Act.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court a copy of the written instructions received from the 4^th respondent dated 23.12.2025. A perusal of the same would reflect that the Preliminary Notification issued for acquisition of the

subject land proposals were submitted for withdrawal of the said notification and accordingly the said notification has been withdrawn. In light of the said proposal, it is stated that the subject land is no longer required for house sites. It is further reflected from the said instructions that the petitioners are in

possession and occupation of the subject land and are cultivating the same.

The said written instructions of the 4^th respondent are placed on record.

In view of the foregoing, the Writ Petition is disposed of, as the grievance of the petitioners is resolved and no further orders are required. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
