The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

“…to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus (i) declaring the inaction on the part of Respondent nos.2 to 6 in registering the FIR against Respondent nos.7 to 10 upon the report of the Petitioner dt.22-12-2025 sent to Respondent nos.2 to 6 through RPAD, for the offences committed by Respondent nos.7 to 10 against the Petitioner and despite her personal approach to Respondent nos. 2 to 6 not registering of any criminal cases against the Respondent nos.7 to 10 is nothing but arbitrary, unlawful and illegal and violation of the Fundamental Rights of the Petitioners under guaranteed under Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India, (ii) by consequently directing Respondent nos.2 to 6 to register the criminal case against Respondent nos.7 to 10

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader.

Sri P. Rajesh Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that Respondent Nos. 2 to 6 have not registered an FIR pursuant to the complaint dated 20.09.2025 filed by the petitioner against Respondent Nos. 7 to 10, despite the contents of the complaint clearly disclosing the commission of cognizable offences.

Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that, upon receipt of the report from the complainant, Allada alias Lambu Venkata Satya Divyasri, an FIR in Crime No. 102 of 2026 under Sections 85, 318(4), and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, “the BNS”), and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, was registered on 12.03.2026 on the file of Annavaram Police Station against the accused persons. During the course of investigation, the Investigating Officer examined the complainant and her father as LWs 1 and 2 and recorded their statements in Part II of the case diary. The case is presently under investigation, as the examination of some more witnesses is pending.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader. Respondent
