The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

“…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly in the nature of a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent No 1 to 4 Authorities to forthwith provide adequate and effective police protection to the Petitioners and their family members at Pentapadu Kanaka Sundaramma Colony Pentapadu Mandal West Godavari District and to consider and take action on their representation dated 30 08 2025against the 5th Respondent Tirumalasetti Ramana and his henchmen in accordance with law and to pass….”

Sri Srinivas Pathuri, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that Respondent Nos.1 to 4 are not providing police protection to the petitioners and their family members, despite their representation dated 30.08.2025.

Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the petitioners lodged a complaint before Respondent No.3 on 30.08.2025 and the same was endorsed to Respondent No.4 for enquiry. It is further submitted that Respondent No.4, after receiving the complaint, conducted an enquiry and submitted a report to Respondent No.3. Basing on the contents of the said report, a case was registered as Cr.No.100 of 2025. After completion of the investigation, a charge sheet was filed on the file of the learned II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tadepalligudem.

It is further submitted that a counter case was also registered based on the contents of another complaint, and accordingly a case in Cr.No.101 of 2026 was registered against the 5^th respondent and four others. After thorough investigation, a charge sheet was also filed in the said case on the file of the learned II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tadepalligudem.

In view of the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Respondents police to consider the representation dated 30.08.2025
