Heard Ms.K.Veeramani, learned counsel representing Mr.N.Nagaraju, learned counsel for the petitioners.

The writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not providing Geo tagging the petitioners house-site pattas for construction of houses in Ward No.70 in 6^th Zone for an extent of 0.97 sq.yds., in Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) as per the order of the 3^rd respondent dated 15.10.2025 by considering the Representation dated 09.01.2026 as illegal, arbitrary etc.

The learned counsel for the petitioners while making submissions with reference to the averments made in the writ petition has drawn the attention of this Court to Ex.P3 dated 09.01.2026 and submits that as there is no action on the part of the respondent-authorities, more particularly the 5^th respondent and as there is a threat of cancellation of housing loan granted to the petitioners, the present writ petition is filed.

As per the instructions dated 17.02.2026 furnished to the learned Standing Counsel representing the respondent No.4, the petitioners herein are actively constructing house on the subject land and gedda (drainage / stream) areas, appear to have been questionable land documents at the nearby Sachivalayam, without knowledge of the Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation Limited. It is also mentioned that the said Corporation has not initiated and released any payment to the petitioners for construction of house

and the above subject land. Whereas in the instructions dated 17.02.2026 furnished by the 5^th respondent to the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, it is inter alia stated to the effect that the Geo tagging issue comes under Urban Area and approval of House and allotment of the beneficiaries was taken up by the PD, UCD department under GVMC Limited. It is also stated in the said instructions that the request of the petitioners does not come under the purview of Tahsildar, Pendurthi. However, it is not stated anywhere as to whether the representation dated 09.01.2026 made by the petitioners was taken up for consideration.

In view of the same and keeping in view the relief sought for by the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.5 to take necessary action on the said representation dated 09.01.2026 and inform the decision taken to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, all pending applications shall stand closed.
