The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

“…to issue an order, direction or Writ more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, declaring the inaction of Respondents/Police herein in failure to register the complaint dated 22/09/2025 as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of 14,19,21,3 00A of the constitution of India and consequently direct to Respondents/Police to register the complaint dated 22/09/2025 forthwith in the interest of justice and pass….”

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader.

Sri Saidulu Shaik, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that respondent No.5 has not registered an FIR pursuant to the complaint dated 22.09.2025 filed by the petitioner, despite the contents of the complaint clearly disclosing the commission of cognizable offences.

Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.5 to register an FIR on the complaint dated 22.09.2025 of the petitioner, if it discloses any cognizable offence in accordance with law following the procedure contemplated laid down in the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’).
