Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr.T.Sanjeeva Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is disconnection of power supply to electricity service connection bearing No.7334305000242 situated in Survey No.165 of Chalakur Village.

The learned counsel for the petitioners with reference to the averments made in the writ petition contends that the disconnection of power supply to the service connections referred to above, that too without following the due procedure as contemplated under law is unsustainable and therefore, under the said circumstances, the petitioner was constrained to file the present writ petition.

However, the submissions made need not be dealt with in detail. As per the latest instructions dated –Nil- furnished by the 3^rd respondent to the learned Standing Counsel Mr.Kota Venkata Rama Rao, it would appear that the service connection bearing Nos.7334305000242 & 7334305000710 are live and C.C. bills / demand notices are being issued regularly. The relevant portion of the said instructions reads as follows:

“4. The averment of the petitioners that the service connection bearing No. 7334305000242 was disconnected by the respondents is wholly misconceived. Both the Service Nos.7334305000242 & 7334305000710 are in live condition and the Demand Notices were also issued regularly.”
