1. The present Writ Petition is filed for the following relief:

“…..to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the G.O.Rt.No.104, Revenue (Excise) Dept., Dt.25.01.2024 (Impugned Order) issued by Respondent No.1 in so far as posting the 5^th respondent as Depot Manager of APSBCL, Kakinada (wrongly typed instead of Samalkota) as illegal, arbitrary and violation of provisions of Section 5 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 and consequently to set aside the same to the extent of posting the 5^th respondent as Depot Manager of APSBCL, Samalkota……”

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, subsequent to the filing of the present Writ Petition, the petitioner was promoted and transferred to another place. He further submits that in view of the subsequent developments, the petitioner no longer has any surviving grievance, and the Writ Petition has consequently become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous . There shall be no order as to costs.

Interim orders, if any, granted earlier shall stand vacated, and all pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
