The writ petition is filed against the action of the respondents in not releasing the amounts of Rs.1,86,460/- vide M Book No. 8124/A/TW, Rs.1,60,345/- vide M Book No. 6528/A/TW and Rs. 1,98,288/- vide M Book No. 142/A/TW for the entrusted works i.e., 1. Providing Additional Infrastructural to Minigurukulam at Gomangi (V) in Pedabayalu (M) of Visakhapatnam District, vide Agreement No. 339/2015-16/ dt.08.12.2015, 2. Construction of P.H.C Building at Pedabayalu (Vand M) of Visakhapatnam District, vide Agreement No. 278/2014- 15/ Dt.30.09.2014 and 3. Construction of Kitchen Cum Dining and Toilet block to TW Ashram High School (B-1) at Pedabayalu (Vand M) of Visakhapatnam District, vide Agreement No. 34/2020-21/DB/ Dt.27.06.2020.

It is submitted that the petitioner had completed the works entrusted to him and that the competent authority of the respondents had also approved the payment due and payable to the petitioner. The respondents have also recorded the progress of the works and the amounts due and payable to the petitioner in the M-Book.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

During the course of hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the works have been completed and that the petitioner has also submitted the final bills and the amounts due

and payable to the petitioner have been duly admitted. It is submitted that further funds are awaited and that, soon after the release of the funds, the bills due and payable to the petitioner shall be cleared.

Recording the submissions, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify and release the payments due and payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
