the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of Respondents in not making necessary corrections in the School records including that of the higher education records with respect to Petitioner's name as Chiramdasu Riteesh in place of Moram Riteesh, Petitioner's father name as Chiramdasu Kishore in place of Moram Venkata Rama Rao and Petitioner's mother name as Chiramdasu Rupa in place of Moram Parvathi Naga Rani, despite the representations dated 28.06.2026 addressed by the petitioner, as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Jigya Yadav Vs CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) (Reported in 2021 (7) SCC 535), violative of Article 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and Consequently direct the respondents herein to carry out necessary corrections in the School records including that of the higher education records by substituting the Petitioner's name as Chiramdasu Riteesh in place of Moram Riteesh, Petitioner's father name as Chiramdasu Kishore in place of Moram Venkata Rama Rao and Petitioner's mother name as Chiramdasu Rupa in place of Moram Parvathi Naga Rani and to issue fresh educational certificates, mark sheets, and all consequential records incorporating the aforesaid correct particulars and to pass

ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed challenging the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in rectifying the errors in the names of the parents of the petitioner and the initial of the petitioner in the school records.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel for the impleaded respondents submits that the school authorities have effected the requisite corrections in the educational certificate and that respondent No.8 would have to carry out the necessary corrections.

Considering the submissions that the school authorities have considered the case of the petitioner and rectified the errors, respondent No.8 would also have to carry out the same corrections in their records and issue a fresh certificate to the petitioner.

With this observation, the present writ petition is disposed off, making it clear to respondent No.8 to issue a fresh certificate after carrying out the necessary corrections within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
