The writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:

…to issue writ, order or directions more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents herein in not considering the claim of the petitioner to extend all service benefits for the out of employment period i.e., from 8-10-2010 to 21-2-2011 ( date of suspension to date of reporting for duty in view of revocation of suspension) with all consequential benefits including re-fixation of pay and payment of arrears and not considering petitioner representation dated 1-5-2025 as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice, and further direct the respondents to extend all consequential benefits for out of employment period and pay arrears on re fixed pay…”

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

Considering the submissions and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the request made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as per Fundamental Rules as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
