Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare for the respondent Nos.1, 3 & 4 and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance Planning for the respondent No.2.

The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is against the action of the respondents in not releasing the 2^nd installment of financial assistance of Rs.5,00,000/- in favour of the petitioner’s son in terms of G.O.Ms.No.29, dated 27-08-2016, despite the sanction of funds by the Government.

When the matter has been taken up for consideration today, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for the respondents has placed before the Court a copy of instructions received by him in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that the Government has released funds for the financial year 2026-27 towards the clearance of pending arrears to eligible beneficiaries under the scheme “NTR Videshi Vidyadharana”. Accordingly, an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- will be sanctioned in favour of the petitioner’ son.
