No. 962/2006 dt 13-4-2006 as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of A.P. Licensing Regulations, 1987 the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956 as also the orders of this Hon'ble Court in WP No. 12123 of 1992 dt 18-3-2001 etc., and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper inthe circumstances of the case.

Heard Mr.Taddi Nageswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr.K.Ashok, learned counsel representing learned Standing Counsel for A.P.S.P.D.C.L.

The present writ petition is filed seeking to declare the memo dated 13.04.2006 issued by the 1^st respondent as illegal, arbitrary, and contrary to the provisions of the A.P.Licensing Regulations, 1987 etc., as also the orders dated 18.03.2001 in W.P.No.12123 of 1992.

At the time of considering the matter, learned counsel for the petitioners placed a copy of the order dated 16.12.2014 in W.P.Nos.3871 & 12569 of 2008, passed by a learned Judge of the erstwhile High Court for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh.

As seen from the said order, the said writ petitions were disposed of in the light of the submissions made by learned counsel representing on both sides, more particularly regarding the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners that Regulation No.46 of the Andhra Pradesh Electrical Licensing

Regulations, 1987 (for short, Regulations) had been followed by the petitioners’ contractors.

In view of the above stated position, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order dated 16.12.2014, with a further direction to the petitioners as well as the respondents to follow Regulation No.46 of the Regulations. No costs.

Registry is directed to enclose a copy of the said order dated 16.12.2014.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
