of A.P State Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation Videshi Vidya Deevana for the year of 2018-2019 to the petitioner application vide.OV2018120218, having been approved the name of the petitioner for the said benefit by the State Level Screening Committee and inspite of completion of their courses as highly illegal, arbitrary violations of the provisions of the settled principles of law and also violation of Articles 14 and 21 Constitution of India and opposed to the Policy Decision of the Government Arbitrary exercise of power and also opposed to legitimate expectation and consequently direct the Respondents to release the scholarship and other amounts to the petitioner forthwith

The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of Respondents in not releasing financial assistance of Rs.10,00,000/(Rupees Ten Lakhs only) sanctioned to the Petitioner under ‘Videshi Vidhya Deevana’ Scheme for pursuing Masters in abroad as illegal and arbitrary .

The facts leading to this case are as follows:

The Petitioner had applied for financial assistance under ‘Videshi Vidhya Deevana’ for pursuing Masters in abroad for the year 2018-2019 vide Application No.OV2018120218. After due verification, Respondent No.3 sanctioned Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) in favour of the Petitioner for pursuing the said course. Though, the Petitioner had completed his Course, the financial assistance as promised to the Petitioner was not disbursed to him. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed.

Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions:-

(i) The Respondents are directed to examine the claim of the Petitioner within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(ii) In the event, the claim of the Petitioner is held to be in order, the Respondents are directed to release the amounts to the Petitioner within a further period of eight

(08) weeks.

(iii) There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Petition shall stand closed.
