The Court made the following: ORDER:
The case of the Respondent No.1/Complainant is that the Petitioner/Accused borrowed Rs.1,00,000/- and, towards part payment of the debt, issued a cheque for Rs.9,000/-, which was twice dishonoured for “Funds insufficient”. Despite issuance of a statutory legal notice dated 23.10.2015, the Petitioner/Accused neither paid the cheque amount nor issued any reply. Accordingly, a complaint under Sections 138 and 142 of the N.I. Act was filed in C.C.No.73 of 2016, which was allowed on merits by judgment dated 06.05.2019.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
