Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A2 to A4), seeking to quash the proceedings in CC No.371 of 2024, on the file of the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Chodavaram, Anakapalli District, for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor states that pending the Criminal Petition, CC No.371 of 2024, on the file of the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Chodavaram, Anakapalli District, was settled before the Lok Adalat vide Award dated 14.03.2026 before the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Chodavaram, Anakapalli District.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has also not disputed the submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
