Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (Accused), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.51 of 2024 of Tenali II Town Police Station, Guntur District, for the offences punishable under Sections 498A r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, basing on the written instructions dated 15.09.2026 of the Station House Officer, Tenali II Town Police Station, Guntur District, submits that pending the Criminal Petition, police filed charge sheet before the I Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Tenali and in the said case, the petitioners got acquitted vide Judgment dated 25.06.2025.
