Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023), has been filed on behalf of petitioner herein (Accused), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.68 of 2024 of Chagallu Police Station, East Godavari District, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent-State on written instructions submits that the police referred the FIR in Crime No.68 of 2024 of Chagallu Police Station, East Godavari District as “CIVIL IN NATURE” vide C.No.32/Refer/SDO-K/2024, dated 01.06.2024 of Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Kovvur Sub-Division, Kovvur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also acceded to the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
