Having gone through the Collector's report and supporting documents, the Court was satisfied that the desilting activity undertaken by the IIIT was clearly in consonance with the prior permission granted and subject to the conditions stipulated therein, and that nothing adverse was found to conclude that there was illegal excavation of gravel/earth, diversion thereof for use by unofficial respondent No.12, or alteration and damage to the canal and the nearby water body.
