This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with

the following prayer for:

“…to issue a writ order or direction more in the nature of mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India declaring the action of the respondents in taking steps to fill up the post of Lecturers adhoc by way of making fresh recruitments instead of treating the petitioners as regular Lecturer / Assistant Professors in respective departments as well as not paying regular salary attached to the post of Lecturers/Assistant Professors as arbitrary illegal discriminatory and unconstitutional violating Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and issue consequential directions directing the respondents to forthwith continue the petitioners in service as Lecturer Adhoc till appointing the petitioners as regular Lecturer/Assistant Professors in the existing vacancies taking into account their qualifications r/w service and experience taking into account the orders of this Honorable High Court in W.P.M.P. No. 27264/2017 in WP No. 22173/2016 Dated 18.07.2016 with all consequential benefits and pass…”

Heard Ms. S.V.Indira, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri I.Madhu Babu, learned Standing Counsel for JNTUK and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Higher Education for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in the light of the interim orders passed by this Court vide I.A.No.01 of 2018 dated 28.02.2018, the respondent authorities have complied the interim orders and the petitioners are continuing in the service.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would submit that no further orders are required in this matter and the petition may be disposed of.
