This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with

the following prayer for:

“.... a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in opening and continuing the rowdysheet No 585-A of 2013 dt.15.09.2013 on the file of 3rd respondent and 4th respondent herein as illegal arbitrary unconstitutional and conseguently^directthe respondents to close and to quash the rowdysheet No.585-A^of2013 dt.15.09.2013 on the file of 3rd respondent and 4th respondent herein and to direct the 4th respondnet not to call the petitioner to the police station for any purpose without following due process of law and pass such other order or orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case”

Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity. Rowdy Sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against him.

Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet No.585-A of 2013 dated 15.09.2013 on the file of Nagarampalem Police Station, Guntur District, against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
