The Court made the following order:
Heard Sri Alapati Lalith Nikhil, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for the respondents.
- The petitioner's grievance is that they made a representationdated 16.06.2025 to the 2"'^ respondent regarding illegalencroachmentsoverthe land belonging to the Endowment Department, which is being used as a passage by the general public; however, no action hasbeentaken.
- Today, when the matter has been taken up for consideration, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments, on oral instructions, submits that there are as many as 121 persons who are illegally occupying the said area. In the said regard, action has been taken up by the Endowments Department for their eviction. The temple has approached the Endowment Tribunal. The temple authorities have also initiated eviction proceedings against the persons who are in illegal occupation. He further submitted that that appropriate orders would be passed on the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2025.
- Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2"'^ respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 16.06.2025 of the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand
closed.
