Heard Sri R. Eswaramurthi, petitioner/party in person^{andthelearned} Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology for the respondents.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is against the respondents in not considering and passing appropriate orders on the representations made by the petitioner in the year 2019 for grant of mining lease for colour granite over an extent of 1.980 Hectares in Sy.No. 152/1, 152/2, 152/4, 152/5 of Melumdoddi Village, Punganur Mandal, Chittoor District.

It is contended that the petitioner at the time of filing of application has deposited requisite fee, however, the same was kept pending and the said application was never considered and prays for a direction to the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioner in 2019 and pass appropriate orders.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology. appearing for the respondents would submit that all^{thependingapplications} as of 13.03.2022 were rendered ineligible by virtue^{oftheamendmentmadeto} the provisions of Rule 12(2) of the Andhra Pradesh^{MinorMineralConcession} Rules, 1966. It is further stated by the learned Assistant^{GovernmentPleader} that the Government has introduced G.O.Ms.100, dated 26.06.2025. As per the said G.O., all the pending applications as on 13.03.2022^aredeclared eligible, and they are now being considered in accordance^{withtheconditions} mentioned in the G.O.Ms.No.100, dated 26.06.2025.
