This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with

the following prayer:

“…..to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not taking any steps for filling up the post of Anganwadi Teacher in Anganwadi Center, Gudipadu village, Pyapili mandal, Kurnool District even though the said post is vacant for the past more than 4 years inspite of repeated requests the last being on 21.12.2018 as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and without any authority of law as well Articles 14, and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to take immediate steps for filling up of the said post by issuing a Notification, and pass such other order or orders……”

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare would submit that the present writ petition is filed seeking a direction to fill up the post of Anganwadi Teacher in Anganwadi Center, Gudipadu Village of Kurnool District. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the post has been filled up with one Venkata Lakshmi and she has joined in the post on 02.03.2020, as such, nothing survives in this matter.
