Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not taking steps for extending the age of retirement from 60 years to 62 years, is illegal, arbitrary, violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India, contrary to the G.O.Ms.No.15, Finance (HR-IV-FR and LR) Department, dt.21.01.2022, consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to continue in service until attaining the age of 62 years, or pending disposal of the writ petition, whichever is earlier and pass such other order.
