This civil revision petition is filed questioning the inaction on the part of the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Rajampeta in not disposing of I.A.No.180 of 2024 in LAOP No.52 of 2008 filed to set-aside the order dated 04.12.2018 Reference Closed” and restoring the O.P.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that, the lands of the petitioners along with others were acquired for establishment of A.P. Special Police XI Battalion at Bhaskarapeta by the Government vide Gazette^{Notificationated} 05.12.1995 under Section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and Award No.22007 dated 24.01.2007 was passed by the Land Acquisition Officer. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners and Respondent^{Nos.2to9havefiled} protest applications under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 for fixation of just market value by the Civil Court. The petitioners and Respondent Nos.2 t 9 filed their claim statement in^{theabovecase.} It is submitted that the Court* below called the case and the reference was closed by calling the claimants as absent. Since the meager property of the petitioners was acquired by granting inadequate compensation, the petitioners filed set-aside petition seeking to set-aside the order^{dated04.12.2018.But} the complaint before this Court is that, the Trial Court is not evincing any interest in disposal of the I.A.No.180 of 2024 in LAOP No.52^of2008,thus causing irreparable loss to the petitioners.

Right to expeditious trial is a right guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India and failure to dispose of the suit causing much delay at the cost of the parties would amount to denial of speedy trial. Therefore, the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Rajampet, is directed to dispose of I.A.No. 180 of 2024 in LAOP No.52 of 2008, in accordance with law, within three (03) months t from the date of receipt of copy of order.
