CONTEMPT CASE NOS: 2284 & 3819/2024

COMMON ORDER:

Contempt Case No.2284 of 2024 is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the orders dated 26.12.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.41716 of 2022.

Contempt Case No.3819 of 2024 is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the orders dated 27.12.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.40016 of 2022.

When the matters are taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the pending proceedings before the Division Bench of this Court by way of Writ Appeal and in view of the order of status-quo granted by the Hon’ble Apex Court in SLP No.30218 of 2024, the order passed in the Writ Petitions became non-implemented. Hence, requested to grant liberty, if the petitioners have any grievance to challenge the same by initiating separate proceedings, after rendering the judgments by the Division Bench of this Court and the Hon’ble Apex Court. Even without liberty also petitioner is entitled to assail the orders passed if any in the Writ Appeal.

Recording the said submissions, the Contempt Cases are closed, granting liberty to the petitioners for initiating appropriate proceedings, if the petitioners have aggrieved or if any grievance after the orders of this Court in Writ Appeal. No order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the contempt

cases shall stand closed.
