The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

"...to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly^{oneinnatureofWritof} Mandamus declaring inaction on the part of Respondents 2 and 3 in issuing Petitioner’s Bachelor of Arts Graduation Consolidated Marks Memo, Provisional Certificate with Register No.161083010 as illegal, arbitrary, against principles of natural justice and consequently direct the Respondents 2 and 3 to issue Petitioner’s Bachelor of Arts Graduation Consolidated Marks Memo, Provisional Certificate with Register No.161083010 .. "

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 has produced a copy of instructions of the Registrar vide letter dated 23.04.2024, wherein it is stated that the Provisional Certificate of the petitioner was posted to the 3^*^ respondent college^{on07.11.2019and} in proof of which, the dispatch register is also enclosed to the copy of said instructions. However, with regard to the consolidated marks memo, the learned Standing Counsel has stated that the petitioner has not submitted any application for issuance of the same, which fact was also admitted by the petitioner.

In view of the same, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the petitioner to approach the 3^'^ respondent College for collecting the provisional certificate, which is lying with the college since 2019, and also directing the petitioner to apply for issuance^{ofconsolidatedmarks} memo so that the University can take steps thereafter.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall

be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending, if any, shall also

stand closed.
